What is Carolina Film Community?
The Carolina Film Community (CFC) is an award-winning nonprofit 501c3 organization created to raise the awareness of film and filmmakers in both North and South Carolina. CFC hosts contests, workshops, networking events, monthly meetings, the notable Made in Carolinas Film Project, and more!
Learn more about our mission and our history on our about page.
CFC meets quarterly starting March 7, 2023.
We meet at Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts in Charlotte, NC — 1030 Woodward Ave Charlotte NC 28206. We meet in the top section of the building so you should enter through the top entrance.
Free entry for annual members; $10 for non-members. Learn more here.
In September, rather than our “regular” quarterly meeting, we will celebrate our local filmmakers with a red carpet event to screen the films entered into the Made in Carolinas Film Contest!
Keep up with our events via our detailed event calendar on our Facebook page. We create event pages for meetings, festivals, and special events. We also share events hosted by other film organizations in the Carolinas (as well as remote opportunities) on our Facebook page. To stay connected, like/follow our page, hover over the “Follow” tab, and select “See First” or “Notifications On (Highlights).”
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we rely on fundraising, dues, and your generous contributions to host events, workshops, screenings, and festivals.
We can’t do what we do without your help!
