Screening Submissions

  • Films must be no longer than 15 minutes.
  • Someone involved in the film must be present at the screening for a Q&A directly following the film.
  • We regularly have teens in our audience, so think PG-13 as a guideline for content.
  • Submitting your film does not guarantee you a screening. Films must be reviewed and approved by CFC before setting a screening date.

Screenings are the first Tuesday of the month, at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille. Admission and membership are at the door, $10 for non-members or $25 for an annual membership. Yearly members pay only $5 per monthly meeting. We sponsor one filmmaker to attend free!

Each month we have a speaker on a relevant topic in the film industry and then show local films with a Q&A after each film. You can share a bit about how the film was made or the directorial choices behind it, and then take questions for about 5 minutes or so.

After the screening, we will give you a digital copy of your film poster or screenshot with our graphic “Screened at CFC” on it for additional sharing on social media!

If selected, we may share promotional materials for your film (posters, behind the scenes footage, etc.) in part or in full on our social media accounts, which reach over 6,000 individuals across the Carolinas.

Please limit to 1080p, 5 GB.
