Please Welcome CFC’s Newest Intern, Taylor Montalto!

Over the years, CFC has had the opportunity to work with several different interns. We are so excited to welcome our newest intern, Taylor to our CFC family and look forward to having her share her excitement and ideas and to help CFC grow even more!

Taylor Montalto graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies and Journalism. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Taylor’s passion for both movies and photography has given her the opportunity to work on various projects in both the documentary and narrative fields.

In 2015, Taylor served as the Director of Photography on a documentary short, “Lady Beer Love.” She also worked as a summer intern at Wheelhouse Media, in which she directed, shot, and edited her own film, “A Look Into the Queen City.”

In 2016, Taylor directed another documentary short, “Starting Again,” having presented the idea at Riverrun International Film Festival’s Pitch Fest. The film was officially selected to be screened at the All-American High School Film Festival in New York City, New York.

She recently served as a Production Assistant on her first narrative feature, “The Rack Pack.” She also competed in the Charlotte 48 Hour Film Project in which she collaborated with a team of 15 other individuals to write, shoot, edit, and export a short film, “Who Lived on Time Avenue,” over the course of 48 hours.
