Aspiring Filmmaker Visits Set of “Made In Carolinas” Film

The Carolina Film Community’s annual film contest Made In Carolinas is still going strong and doing it’s part to reach out to the community.

Recently, new CFC member and aspiring film maker Emmett Donelson – age 11,  visited the set of Chris Baker’s Made In Carolinas film.  Baker is a member of the CFC Advisory Board as well as  working full time in production in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

Mentoring upcoming filmmakers is just one of the ways that CFC is reaching out to the community to educate and raise awareness on filmmaking in the Carolinas.

Emmett was given the chance to see firsthand what goes into making a quality independent film. He observed the setting up of equipment, the use of the camera for different shots and the directing of  actors among other important parts of the process.
