Made in Carolinas Film Project 2016: Script to Screen

Made in Carolinas 2016: Script to Screen is the 7th film contest of it’s kind presented by Carolina Film Community!

For this year, filmmakers will be asked to all use the same dialogue and settings in the scripts provided. The catch? They have to make their own spin and interpretation of the script. All settings, directions, and dialogue must remain the same. However, the filmmaker should use their creativity to make the script their own.

Each film will be viewed by a panel of celebrity judges and the viewer’s choice award will be given by the audience on September 13th when we come together to watch the films and announce the winners!

Each winner in the following categories will be awarded a cash prize:

Best Overall Film $1500

Best Director $750

Best Actor/Actress $750

Best Supporting Actor/Actress $500

Best Director $750

Best Cinematography $750

Viewer’s Choice Award (determined the night of the awards event) $1000

Best Student Film $750

More information will revealed along the way on our website as well as our Facebook page, so be sure to continue to follow us.
